Project Manager

Skills/Requirements:

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Highly organized and detail oriented.

• Ability to read mechanical plans and identify construction methods as required.
• Excellent communication skills and self-motivation.
• Must possess a valid BC Driver’s License.

• Strong understanding of industry practices, processes, standards, technology, equipment methods, cost control, and schedules, and their impact on project activities.
• BCIT certification in mechanical programs is an asset, but not required.
• Basic estimation skills.
• Working knowledge of Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Experienced journeyman sheet metal workers will be considered.

Job Description and Duties:

• Responsible for all email correspondence both intra-office and to/from customers.
• Processing RFIs, equipment orders, and all other paperwork.
• Co-ordinating with estimators for pricing of certain items.
• Assist with change order pricing.
• PMs are highly integrated with foremen. As a result of this collaborative process, the PM is expected to frequently visit job sites.



Estimator

Skills/Requirements:

• Five or more years Sheet Metal / HVAC experience.
• Methodical, analytical, and realistic approach to quoting a job.
• Highly organized and detail oriented.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must remain professional, adaptable, and calm within a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Ability to read drawings.
• Excellent communication skills and self-motivation.
• Committed to preserving confidential proprietary information.
• BCIT certification in mechanical programs is an asset, but not required.
• Working knowledge of Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• QuickPen or TSI experience is an asset.

Job Description and Duties:

• Locating drawings and seeking out jobs to quote.
• Performing take-offs and putting together tenders / bids.
• Expected to work closely with project managers and foremen.



Field Foreman

Skills/Requirements:

• Ability to lead a team.
• Ability to read Mechanical, Architectural, Structural and Specifications and identify construction methods as required.
• Ability to read and understand contracts.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with others.
• Ability to read and comprehend shop drawings.
• Ability to plan and prioritize work.
• Basic drafting skills.
• Highly organized and detail oriented.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
• Ability to remain professional, adaptable, and calm within a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to resolve conflicts under pressure.
• Must possess basic computer skills with Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.
